Ahead of the 5th November date of the 2022 edition of Kabba Day Celebration, the Planning Committee has confirmed the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Lokoja, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi to present papers on the
Theme; Unity as an essential ingredient in actualizing the great potential of the Kabba community and security as a vital force in realizing the agricultural potential of the community.
This was contained in a statement signed by the CPC Chairman, Engr. Femi Olubiyo and made available to newsmen in Lokoja.
According to the statement, the committee has gotten a commitment from the university Don to do justice to the topic of the day, stressing that Kabba being the headquarters of Okun nation needs everyone’s contributions to attain its real status as one of the ancient pre colonial era town.
He said that the event will afford the people of (Owe) Kabba to come together to celebrate their rich culture and traditions with guests being expected from across the globe to grace the occasion.
Engr. Femi Olubiyo said the program will feature different kinds of activities with cultural displays from other communities who reside in the metropolis.
