25 Years of Democratic Progress: Oba Muyiwa Ibeun Congratulates Nigerians on Democracy Day

As Nigeria celebrates 25 years of uninterrupted democratic governance, His Royal Majesty, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun, has released a press statement commending Nigerians for upholding the democratic principles that have united the nation for over two decades.

In his statement, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun emphasized the importance of cherishing and upholding democracy as a vehicle for strength, unity, and development in Nigeria. He urged all Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms, recognizing the need for sustainable growth and development in the nation.

The traditional ruler also called on all stakeholders in governance to sacrificially and genuinely support the economic reforms of the present administration, emphasizing the importance of innovation and diversification in driving economic progress at all levels.

As the Paramount Ruler of Mopa, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun extended his felicitations to the people of Mopa, urging them to remain democratic, united, and peaceful in their pursuit of development for the community.

On this Democracy Day, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun paid tribute to the heroes of Nigeria’s democratic struggle, including the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola, and congratulated all Nigerians on their continued commitment to democracy and unity.
