WE SUCCEEDED WHERE OUR OPPONENTS NEVER GAVE US A CHANCE– GOVERNOR ADELEKE
In a stunning turn of events, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has attributed the remarkable successes achieved by his administration in 2023 to divine guidance, leaving his political adversaries stunned and his supporters rejoicing.
As the new year dawns, Governor Adeleke addressed the Inter-religious service held at the state secretariat, expressing his gratitude for the divine intervention that has guided his decision-making process throughout his tenure. He boldly declared, “Our leadership is a product of divine plan and manifestation.”
Governor Adeleke further highlighted the daunting challenges inherited from his predecessor, which many believed were insurmountable. However, with unwavering faith and a righteous heart, his government defied all odds, implementing innovative policies that answered crucial state policy questions and improved the lives of the people.
“Our government has proven that a God-led administration is vital for successful leadership in state governance,” he proudly proclaimed.
The people of Osun state, who have witnessed the tangible transformation, have extended their unwavering support to Governor Adeleke. In turn, he expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the workers and the entire community, urging them to continue their solidarity and commitment to the betterment of the state.
The endorsement of Governor Adeleke’s re-election for a second term came as no surprise, as the Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba (Dr) Adewale Akanbi (Telu 1), declared unequivocally at the Inter-religious event, “Governor Adeleke is the driver of the Osun government.”
Recognizing the Governor’s commendable achievements, the Oluwo of Iwoland implored all irrespective of political affiliations, to rally behind the administration and ensure its continued success. He passionately stated, “I’m declaring on behalf of other traditional rulers in the state that we’re fully in support of your government and its continuation for a second term in office.”
This proclamation was met with applause and awe from the attendees, who embraced the vision and leadership of Governor Adeleke. The Oluwo of Iwoland also passionately appealed for the betterment of the state’s traditional institution, while acknowledging the Governor’s efforts thus far.
To culminate the event, prayers were offered for the progress, economic advancement, peace, and divine wisdom for Governor Adeleke. Notable personalities present included the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, SSG, Hon Teslim Igbalaye, Speaker of the State Assembly, Honourable Adewale Egbedun, and other prominent political functionaries and traditional rulers.
Governor Adeleke, touched by the overwhelming support, vowed to achieve greater heights for Osun state with the divine guidance and the continued support of the people.
