The Foundation laying Ceremony for the Remodeling of Government Secondary school Koton Karfe, has been performed with applause for the Senator Representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Sen Sunday Karimi for facilitating the project.
The foundation laying for the School Remodeling Project is under the National Senior Secondary Education Commission, was facilitated by Sen. Karimi with the foundation laying held at the school premises.
The project is worth over N1.2 billion, would enable the remodeling of the school in terms of structures like classrooms and in the provision of some infrastructure after the completion.
Performing the foundation laying, Sen. Karimi assured of more constituency projects, said his priority remains the people.
He said the empowerment of women cooperative society to the tune of N100m just recently released to 50 women cooperative groups he added is another opportunity to empower the women and businesses in the district.
He said arrangement has reached final stage for the payment of another N100m as bursary to students of the district, assured that his representation is about improving on the lives of the people.
Various speakers from the Community applauded the efforts of the Senator to attract such project to the area, described the gesture as unprecedented.
