Members of the reputable Adeleke Women of Substance has sent a warmth greeting to the former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the Executive Governor of Delta State who also doubles as the Vice Presidential candidate of the Party, Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, to the Southwest Tour holding in the city of Ibadan.
This was made known in a statement signed by the President of the renowned Women-based Sociopolitical group, the Yeyeluwa of Edeland, Chief (Dr) Mrs. Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni.
Dr. (Mrs) Adeleke-Sanni said the coming of PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, to SouthWest is not a mere political jamboree but for serious election business that we have all been looking forward to. It is on the strength of the foregoing that members of the Adeleke Women of Substance and other prominent groups in the state have resolved not only to give a befitting welcome to the incoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, but also to troop out enmasse and mobilise support for his victory ahead of the Presidential election.
While expressing profound gratitude to H.E Atiku Abubakar for the support given in the July 16 Governorship election, Yeyeluwa Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni reiterates commitment to reciprocate same in the 2023 Presidential Election.
