A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Naseer who double as the Dan Darma of Lokoja has lauded stakeholders in Lokoja/Koto for coming to strengthen the party in preparation for the incoming governorship in the state to ensure a resounding victory for Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.
The commendation came in a statement issued by Naseer in Lokoja, the state capital on Tuesday while reacting to the stakeholders meeting.
In the statement, Naseer further urged the stakeholders of the APC across the state to ensure victory for the party and it’s candidate.
He said the leadership of Lokoja/Koto under the able leadership of Alh. Baba Ali and Hon. Saidu Akawu Salihu has greatly done very well, saying the dou have unified the party in the two sisters state and bringing everyone under one umbrella.
According to Naseer, Ododo remains the best choice for the state having worked closely with the outgoing Governor Yahaya Bello, arguing that the he will continue from where Bello stop if elected into office.
“I am happy because the people of Lokoja has finally done the right thing by joining other stakeholders to endorse the bid of our party’s governorship candidate.
“The move shows that we have decided to join other parts of the state in the winning train. I hope we will follow this through to ensure victory for our party as means of attracting good things to Lokoja under the government of Ododo.”
