Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo Takes the Helm: A New Era Begins in Kogi State

Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has officially become the fifth executive Governor of Kogi State. He succeeded Alhaji Yayaha Adoza Bello, who served as the Chief Executive of the state for the past eight years.

The inauguration took place at the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Center in Lokoja, with notable dignitaries in attendance, including Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima and Dr Abdulahi Ganduje, the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC.

At exactly 2:30 pm, Ododo took the oath of office, which was administered by Justice Joseph Majebi, the Chief Judge of Kogi State. The ceremony was vibrant and filled with color, reflecting the optimism surrounding the new governor’s tenure.

In addition to the Vice President and Chairman of the APC, other distinguished guests present at the event were Kwara State Governor Alhaji Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman, along with various federal and state government functionaries.

With his inauguration, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo embarks on a new chapter in Kogi State’s history, injecting fresh energy and vision into the governance of the state. The people of Kogi State eagerly await the positive changes and development that his administration will bring.
