The Minister of State FCT, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has felicitated with the Ona of Abaji and Chairman FCT Traditional Council of Chiefs, Alhaji (Dr). Adamu Baba Yunusa CON, on the occasion of his 25 years anniversary on the throne.
The Minister praised the monarch’s commitments to the peaceful coexistence among residents of the ancient community as well as preservation of the culture and traditions of the people of his kingdom.
This was contained in a goodwill message issued Friday to commemorate the monarch’s 25 years on the throne.
While describing the Ona of Abaji as a symbol of peace and harmony in the FCT, Aliyu said: “For 25 years, your reign has been peaceful and eventful to both visitors and indigenes of the community,
” Your humility and dedication to duty is worthy of commendation and has constantly been demonstrated since your enthronement.
“I thank Almighty Allah for this even as I urge the people of Abaji to continue to support and pray for the monarch in order to achieve more for the community and nation at large.”
