In a bid to enhance scholarship and bursary disbursement for Kogi State students nationwide, the Special Adviser on Students and Youth matters to Kogi State governor, Ambassador Oladele John Nihi, met with Mr Mamman and Mrs Odiba Eleojo of the Kogi State Scholarship Board (KSSB) in his office today.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to optimize modern technology for efficient distribution once disbursements commence, in line with the directives of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, Executive Governor of Kogi State.
Ambassador Nihi expressed his commitment to improving the welfare of Kogi State students, acknowledging Governor Ododo’s dedication to ensuring timely payments of bursaries and scholarships. He also mentioned his plans for a working visit to the Board’s office tomorrow to receive a detailed briefing on the board’s activities and assess its office conditions.
The collaboration between Ambassador Nihi and the KSSB officials highlights the government’s efforts to support students in the state and complement the ongoing infrastructural development in educational institutions across Kogi State.
