Arc Salman Idris urged Muslims in Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu and as well as Nigeria to use this special occasion for fervent prayers, selfless services for humanity, peace, unity and love for one another.
He further availes that this year’s Celebration calls for a renewed commitment to making humanity great, pointing out that the Celebration calls for citizens to show love and kindness to one another through sacrificial giving.
He, however, tasked Muslims on the need to be their brother’s keeper, stressing that the season is an opportunity availed to practicalising love and pray fervently, against the senseless killings of the innocent souls at almost everywhere in our country.
Arc Salman Idris tasked Muslims to use this period as one for sober reflection on the acute challenges facing the nation and to see how they could apply the virtues of love and sacrifice in fashioning out workable measures aimed at pulling Nigeria out of the quagmire she has found herself in at this critical time.
