Members of the Babayemi Vanguard Support Group took their campaign efforts a step further by seeking the support of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lokoja. The goal was to rally support for Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman and his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo, as the preferred and most promising candidates in the upcoming gubernatorial election.
Addressing the union members at the NURTW Ibro Park, Kelvin Oluseyi Eleta expressed gratitude for the warm reception and commendable dedication shown by the NURTW members in supporting Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman. Despite the short notice, the Babayemi Vanguard Convener, Chief (Rtn) Babayemi Olorunfemi, praised the union for standing firm amidst distractions from opposing groups.
The branch Chairman, Alhaji Yusuf Kolo, spoke on behalf of his members, assuring the group of their unwavering support not just during the election but also thereafter. With optimism in their minds, they firmly believe in Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman’s victory come November 11. Furthermore, Alhaji Yusuf Kolo took the opportunity to congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman in advance for his assured victory in the fast-approaching election.
As a gesture of appreciation, the Babayemi Vanguard Support Group donated branded shirts and caps to the NURTW members, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie.
The event was commemorated with a group photograph to signify the joint effort in endorsing Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman’s gubernatorial candidacy.
