***Country Commissioner Urges Team to Aim Higher for Next Year’s Outing
In a historic moment for Nigerian sports, the Babe Ruth League Nigeria team has made a triumphant return to the country after an unforgettable outing at the Babe Ruth League US World Series.



The team arrived at the Muritala Muhammed Airport at about 10:00am yesterday to a warm reception from fans and well-wishers, celebrating their remarkable achievement on the world stage.
Country Commissioner, Mr Imonikhe John Peter, expressed his joy and pride at the team’s performance, noting that their participation in the world series just ten months after the league was unveiled in Nigeria was a significant milestone.
He encouraged the team and other chartered Babe Ruth League Nigeria teams to redouble their efforts for next year’s competition, promising more opportunities for teams to participate in the future.
Dr. James Asagunla, the leader of the delegation to Branson Missouri USA, expressed his gratitude to the country commissioner and all those who supported the team’s journey, including the players’ parents who showed unwavering dedication throughout the process.
The Babe Ruth League Nigeria team’s success at the world series has not only put Nigerian baseball on the map but has also inspired a new generation of young athletes to pursue their dreams on the international stage. Cheers to the team and hopes for an even better outing next year!
