Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has extended his warm felicitations to Chief Kolawole Babalola Jamodu, a distinguished business leader from Kogi State, on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

Chief Jamodu, who hails from Odo Ere, Yagba West local government area, is celebrated for his impactful contributions to the Nigerian corporate sector, and his legacy of inspiring countless individuals globally.

In a congratulatory message, Governor Ododo commended Chief Jamodu for his indelible marks in the development of corporate Nigeria, particularly in the areas of manufacturing and corporate governance. The Governor acknowledged Chief Jamodu’s profound impact, shaping social and economic development across various communities worldwide.

“I have long admired Baba for his contributions to the development of corporate Nigeria where his indelible marks have inspired countless individuals and shaped social and economic development in communities around the world,” Governor Ododo stated.

The Governor wished Chief Jamodu continued good health, happiness, and fulfillment as he celebrates this significant milestone and urged him to continue using his influence and wealth of experience to promote unity, peace, and development in Kogi State.

Chief Jamodu, a former chairman of the Nigerian Breweries Plc and a renowned investor in various sectors of the Nigerian economy, was also recognized for his leadership as a respected community leader in Kogi State. He received the Confluence Merit Silver Service Star award from the Kogi State government in recognition of his outstanding contributions.

The Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Oladele John Nihi, reiterated the state’s reliance on Chief Jamodu’s wisdom and leadership to inspire future generations of the people of Kogi.
