Kogi State Must be Liberated!

The state is in mayhem and that should keep electorates ready to disconnect new methods employed to brainwash those that are left behind in the exposure’s domain. A lot of efforts must be displayed by youths to canvas votes for a visionary among the candidates.

Kogites must wake up from the ignorance that has led the very previous presidential election gone into democratic oblivion. The ideal shouldn’t be reverted in the state. It would be great if right scores are used to measure the candidates. This would be well-addressed if tribalism and nepotism is pushed beneath. The focus of great Kogi State must be thoroughly considered even as the state is still in the middle of an ocean as a result of rigorous mismanagement of resources of the state for past eight years.

Pressing further; on a promising page, Kogi East need to execute and exercise thorough investigations – accompanied with rigorous scrutiny to checkmate missions of the prominent candidates from the senatorial district so as to avoid irreparable mistakes that could damage the state further – for the next 8 years – as Nigeria politics is always achieved with negative manipulations. Hence, Kogi East is the voting strength of the election.

The weight of forthcoming election has murdered conscience of some Kogites following the deteriorating waves; and the dilemma, coupled with nemesis of ethnical bigotry have made all efforts scale a lot on enterprises that may appear disheartening upon election result.

To that effect, the stakeholders of the state must stand firm to preach equality, fairness and transparency in the coming gubernatorial election. This can easily see the light of a day if tribal factors are not considered. And, it is better, interests of the state prevail over gift that could disrupt electioneers. Thus, stakeholders are charged to encourage youths, traditional rulers, religious leaders and civil servants to vote for a candidate with political experiences; a candidate with mind of engaging youths and women in government; a candidate that has been tested with results; and, a candidate that has visions and strategies to transforming the state from her dead-point to national picture. This would create rooms for stakeholders to replenish scars in the face of the state as they deploy transformational campaigns – to erase current hardship among government workers and entire citizens.

As speculations fly around, the election is impregnated with notorious workings. Youths should make a refusal of being weaponized. No one among the candidates is worth dying for. Besides, after the election, doors are closed to meet them.

Therefore, the best youths could do for a candidate of choice, is to intelligently make private mobilization and advocacy.

Political parties’ flag bearers are reminded to be calm in their doings as a nature of indifference of human is a sure idea despite different doings to satisfy desires.

Campaigns are not grounds to make criticisms and assaults, rather; a stage to demonstrate maturity, wisdom and intellectual prowess – and, remarkably; a stage to highlights ideas to be executed when elected. Invariably, records and achievements speak loud during campaigns. So, key to positive affirmations and maintain impartial tenses.
