The immediate past Deputy Governor of Kogi State and Member of the South East Development Commission, His Excellency Chief Edward David Onoja, has paid a condolence visit to His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ododo, Executive Governor of Kogi State, at his Abuja residence following the passing of his father.
Chief Onoja prayed for God’s comfort on the Governor and his family, while acknowledging the long and impactful life of the late patriarch.
Governor Ododo, in his remarks, appreciated Chief Onoja’s visit, describing him as instrumental to the New Direction Government’s foundation and growth. He reiterated his administration’s focus on unity, peace, and enhanced security to attract investments in oil and gas, solid minerals, and the cashew value chain for the ultimate benefit of the people of Kogi State.
