Following the approval of His Excellency, the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi (CON), a notable Nigeria youth, Comrade Adedotun Omoleye was conferred with the award as EKITI STATE OUTSTANDING YOUTH.
The Award is in recognition of his various achievements in the field of HUMANITARIAN SERVICES and his noticeable character which depicts the core value of the OMOLUWABI Ekiti people are known for globally.
The event which was held at Bishop Adetiloye Hall, Fountain Hotel, Old Iyin Road, Ado Ekiti on Wednesday 12th October 2022, being the second edition was presented by Governor Kayode Fayemi alongside Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, Governor-elect and other Ekiti prominent personalities.
The recipient in his reaction to the Honour said “I thank you immensely for the great honour of being nominated, considered and now awarded “EKITI STATE OUTSTANDING YOUTH” My family and I are grateful for this honour. My friends, associates and I are also grateful.
“We consider this award as an encouragement to do even more in the service to our state and service to our country. We believe that in any given opportunity, it should be about service to one’s community, country and humanity as a whole. And leadership is key to solving all the challenges in our communities, states and national level.
“It is an incredible moment for me. I am almost incapable of finding the right words to convey my appreciation to you. I feel respect for honoring me with this award.
“So, I sincerely express my heartfelt delight to all that enabled me to achieve this goal. I consider myself lucky to have received this award today. I hope to continue doing my best in the future” he stated.
