As Kogi people mark another transition to a new administration, I wish to sincerely congratulate our amiable Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy Chief Joel Salifu on their successful assumption of office as Executive Governor and Deputy Governor respectively.
Your Excellency, it is without doubt that your peaceful and humane disposition when juxtaposed with your Midas touch achievements in the places you have worked and the testimonies from the people who crossed your paths, are early indications that Kogi State would be better for it under your leadership.
I therefore humbly wish Your Excellency God’s guidiance as you pilot the affairs of our dear State and a very successful tenure of office in the years ahead.
I also wish to proudly applaud the two term tenure of office of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, who came, saw and conquered. Without any iota of exaggeration, that you have played your path and done your best within available resources.
Your Excellency’s resilience in tackling the security menace in the state, infrastructural development in all spares of our State life, are indelible marks of your eight years administration in the state.
It is my expectations that the new administration of Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo would build on the positive legacies and impact of the previous administration in taking our State to an enviable heights of socio economic development and Prosperity.
Once again to our humane and amiable Governor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo and Your Excellency, the Deputy Governor, Elder Joel Salifu, Congratulations on your successful swearing in ceremony and assumption of office.
