The visit became imperative as part of efforts to communicate government policies, programmes and activities with the aim of curtailing the increased recruitment of child soldiers by Terrorists in the North-East and other parts of the country.

The NOA director stated that the security implications of such a move is dangerous for us collectively, hence, the need for stakeholders to work together and ensure the illegal activities are checked.
In his comments, State Commander, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) Mallam Saadu Mustapha reiterated the need for concerted efforts by Stakeholders in the elimination of all forms of trafficking and misuse of humans such as enlisting of child soldiers by terrorists.
