The party has expressed it’s dissatisfaction on the unsavoury comments being paraded on social media and contents of discuss by some party members in reaction to the appeal filed by Dist. Senator Dino Melaiye against Incoming Distinguish Senator Tajudeen Yusuf, wish the party has handled and resolved.
“We sincerely appeal to members not to fuel any crisis as the elections are done with, and that members should remember that, like any other aspirant, Distinguish Senator Dino Melaiye has the right to appeal, which is even better than taken any other action that may affect the interest of all in the party negatively.” This was contained in a statement signed by the party’s Director of Media and Communications, Comrade Dayo Onibiyo.
Our party, is united and should be stronger after the primary elections, so as to enable us face the common enemy at the General elections, the statement calls for closer ties between all the candidates of the party and their fellow contestants who stood at the primaries with them.
