The Ekinrin Adde Community Development Association (EACDA) has awarded Elder Johnson Bamikole Dare with a distinguished community service award, recognizing his hard work and consistent dedication to serving his community.
The award ceremony took place during the Ekinrin Adde Day 2024 award night, held on Friday, June 21st, at the Town Hall.



In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, described Elder Johnson as a responsible and hospitable philanthropist.
He said “While we were in Ilorin, Elder Johnson’s office was like a home. If you arrive in Ilorin and can’t find your way, just mention Johnson Electronics. You get to him, and you’re assured that you are in safe hands. He is a good man,”
Prof. Akinwumi said. He added that the value of a man is not measured by his wealth but by his good deeds.
Elder Johnson expressed profound gratitude to the organizers of the event and pledged his continued support for the overall progress of the Ekinrin Adde community.
The event was graced by prominent personalities, including the Olu-Adde of Ekinrin Adde HRH Oba Anthony bamigbaye Idowu, member of the house of Rep ,Hon. James abiodun Faleke, and Kogi State commissioner for science, technology and innovation , Hon. Helen Adewumi Aderibigbe, Kogi State commissioner for Environment ,Hon Adewale omofaiye among others.
