The National Executive Committee of the Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association under the leadership of Elder Wilson Abiodun Olorunleke has confirmed the appointment of Mr Matthew Yomi Wonderful as the Station Manager, Ekinrin-Adde Community radio Station(Akogba 88.3 FM Radio) .
The President of the EACDA commended the efforts and sacrifice of Mr Yomi Wonderful who has been acting in an interim capacity since the commissioning of the Radio Station in June 2023.
Yomi Wonderful who runs the WOGTV business empire is a young, accomplished and successful entrepreneur.
Born on September 12th, in the late 80’s , Yomi is from the esteemed family of Pastor Mathew Folorunsho of the Omoe-Mekun Clan in Otun-Adde. With a profound passion for media, he currently serves as the President of Simdram Films and CEO at WOGtv and Wogstudios.
He attended St. Barnabas’s Secondary School in Kabba and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Kogi State University, Anyigba. Yomi Wonderful is not only a media expert but also a dedicated mentor, having trained and guided over 50 youths in various media disciplines such as music production, video editing, drone piloting, live streaming, photography, and cinematography.
His exceptional contributions to the industry has earned him numerous accolades, including the Projector News Media Award of the Year and Creative Global Recognition Award from Valerie in the United Kingdom, among others. Yomi Wonderful’s expertise has taken him across Nigeria, delivering top-notch media training and event coverage for prominent figures, including the flag-off campaign of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Additionally, he serves as the personal photographer to Olu-Adde Olu Anthony Bamigbaye Idowu ACA,CON. (Ahemaworo 1), and has provided his services to notable personalities such as the EACDA, Arch Yomi Awoniyi (former Deputy Governor), Prof Jegede (Ogorimangogo), and Dr. Raphael Arokoyo (AF RAF & Maktot oil and Gas), Engr Emmanuel Ajibero (KDU president),Prof Rafindadi (The Pioneer VC FUL) among others.
Yomi is married to Mathew Bamitale Omolara (nee Ibitoye) of the Ote – Mekun clan in Ilaga-Adde and his marriage is blessed with two beautiful kids Ireayomide Bright and Morenkeji Bernice.
