My Dad is 80 years old today
This is God’s grace – a great privilege, and we’re not taking it for granted. The bible says: “Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous:
The Lord’s right hand has done mighty things” and it is marvellous in our sight”.
Congratulations Dad!
Your service to humanity is second to none. You always wish the best for everyone.
When a child grows to become an adult, they can decipher and know if they were raised rightly or wrongly by their parents. You’ve done very well for us as children and we’re most grateful to you.
You taught us the value of integrity. You will never compromise your faith for anything in this world.
You taught us humanity, humility, simplicity, and contentment.
You taught us how to be concerned about other people’s plight. If you’ve ever met my dad, you can be sure he has prayed for and asked after you without season. He prays the same way for strangers.
He taught us the value of time. He never shows up in any meeting or event late.
He taught and showed us the true importance of family, among others.
Your children are proud of you. Our friends know you, even though they may not have met you. It shows the kind of impact you have made on us.
How else do I describe the unalloyed love of a father to his children?
You’ve always been a great Dad!
