***Providing Support and Encouragement for Education in the Community
The Board of Directors of the Global Health and Indigent Care Foundation (GHICF), led by Dr. Samuel Duro Oloyo and Mrs. Julie Lola Oloyo, has announced the 4th edition of its annual scholarship award for students in public secondary and tertiary institutions in Ayetoro-Gbede.
The Scholarship and Educational Assistance Program (SEAP) Committee will administer the awards during the 2025/2026 academic session, following specific guidelines for both secondary and tertiary students.
For secondary school students, awards will include laptops, books, and other materials for STEM and English students, along with a quiz competition and debate. Special needs students will also receive tailored support.
In tertiary institutions, STEM students in universities and polytechnics will receive financial assistance ranging from N150,000 to N300,000 for the 2025/2026 session, with beneficiaries selected based on merit, course of study, and available funds.
To be eligible for the scholarship, secondary school students must be currently enrolled in public schools in Ayetoro-Gbede and have the highest scores in STEM subjects and English language in each class. Tertiary students must provide various documents, including a letter of attestation of origin and a letter of admission.
Applications for tertiary students must be submitted by October 15, 2025, to the SEAP Committee email address. Past beneficiaries who are still in their undergraduate programs can also apply for the current awards.
The awards will be strictly based on merit and processed transparently, with no need for correspondence with the Committee. This initiative aims to support and encourage education among students in Ayetoro-Gbede, providing them with the resources they need to succeed in their academic pursuits.
The deadline for applications is fast approaching, so eligible students are encouraged to submit their applications promptly for consideration.
