Governor Ododo Galvanizes Housing Development in Kogi State with Renewed Hope City Project

Governor Ododo of Kogi State has taken a significant step towards addressing the housing deficit in the state by directing the immediate implementation of the Renewed Hope Housing Project. This move comes as a response to the pressing need for affordable housing in the state, as well as a commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

During a meeting with the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Governor Ododo emphasized the importance of the Renewed Hope Housing Project in Kogi State, citing the state’s strategic location and growing population as key factors driving the need for housing development. The Governor announced the allocation of 100 hectares of land to the FHA for the construction of the Renewed Hope City, with full compensation provided by the government.

The collaboration between the state government and the FHA signals a new chapter in housing development in Kogi State, with the goal of expanding housing opportunities beyond the boundaries of the state capital master plan. Governor Ododo expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for recognizing Kogi State as a prime location for the Renewed Hope Housing Project, underscoring his commitment to making the state a hub for economic growth.

In response, the Managing Director of the Federal Housing Authority, Honourable Ayotunde Ojo, commended Governor Ododo for his proactive approach to addressing the housing needs of the people of Kogi State. He assured the state government of the FHA’s full support in ensuring the successful implementation of the Renewed Hope City project.
