The Caretaker Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, Alh. Haruna Ibrahim in Thursday alongside his supporters joined others to welcome Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as he returned to the state 3 days after the Tribunal Judgement that affirmed his victory at the November 11th 2023 Governorship poll.
Jubilant crowd, which makes up of sea of head as well as political office holders, trooped out to the state capital in Lokoja as they gave the Peoples Governor, a rousing welcome.
The crowd went in to a frenzy, singing victory songs as soon as the governor arrived.
The Ijumu LGA Caretaker Chairman while addressing Journalists, said the mammoth crown attest to the acceptability and believe of tbe people in Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo to stair the ship of the State effectively.
He expressed appreciation to the people of the state for their demonstrated support for the administration of his Gov. Ododo, stressing that the victory at the tribunal, would serve as a tonic for better performance and an opportunity to sustain good governance being enjoyed in the state.
According to him, the Governor has good plans for the people, urging them to give him maximum support.
