A group under the aegis of Concerned Kogi Assembly Aspirant Forum has congratulated His Excellency Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello on his recognition and recipient of an Award on Security as recently conferred on him by President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR.
In a statement made available to the press in Lokoja on Saturday 22nd Oct 2022, the spokesperson for the group, Hon. Sunday Bello said the award did not come to Kogites as a surprise considering the premium priority attention that Governor Yahaya Bello led administration place on Security management of the State over the years, as well as his untiring efforts to see that Kogi State is safe and secure.
The group therefore enjoin His Excellency not to relent in his good works for the State.
Hon. Sunday Bello equally seized the opportunity to Congratulate the Governor on his appointment as National Youth Coordinator of Tinubu/ Shetima Presidential Campaign Council.
“We equally felicitate with His Excellency and the people of Kogi State for the recognition and confirmation of the State as an Oil Producing State, which has now place Kogi State as the First to attain such feat among the Nineteen (19) Northern States.
Hon. Bello said that with this landmark achievement by the administration of His Excellency Alh. Yahaya Bello, Kogi State will now witness a more geometric developmental progression.
Explaining further that if for the past Six going to Seven years of Gov. Yahaya Bello’s administration, and with a meagre resources, Kogi State has witnessed so great transformation in terms of infrastructures, meaning, with this new development, and still under the leadership of Gov. Yahaya Bello, Kogi State will soon become an El Dorado.
Hon. Sunday Bello unbehalf of the group extol the virtues and sterling leadership quality of Gov. Yahaya Bello and also expressed the group appreciation to His Excellency for building a strong wall of Unity amongst all the Aspirants and Candidates in which he demonstrated by inviting all Aspirants and Candidates to Kogi State Government House in a meeting tagged: Family discussion.
With all sense of responsibility, Hon. Sunday Bello said the group will like to equally seize the opportunity to thank His Excellency for the promise he made, which to him is very rare and uncommon in the Political history of the State.
The group describe as unfortunate the recent fire disaster at the Kogi State House of Assembly, and also sympathise with those that lost their valuables in the recently witnessed flood disaster that submerged many houses and causing severe damages.
“On the last note , the group wish to reiterate their unflinching loyalty and support to the administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello and pray for God to continually guide and protect him in all his endeavours. The statement reads.
