The Honourable minister of State FCT, Haj. Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu attended the 2022 Africa Youth Day Congress themed “Pan Africanism; Youths As A Panacea For Achieving The Africa We Want”, organised by Nigerian Youth Congress in collaboration with Nigerian Youth Parliament.
“It was a great opportunity to interact with the youths, as well as other personalities.
She, at the event received the African Achievers Award as the “Women and Gender Advocate of the Year” in recognition of her contribution to women’s empowerment and gender equality.
She thanked the organisers for finding her worthy of this recognition, and also commend them for coming up with such an important event.
“I remain committed to all steps and efforts necessary to uplift our women and youths” she said.
