The Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has extended heartfelt condolences to the Obaro of Kabba, HRM Oba Dele Solomon Owoniyi, his children, family members, and friends who mourn the passing of the monarch’s wife, Olori Marie Owoniyi.
Zacchaeus’s condolence message is contained in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Omofa John, titled ‘Zacchaeus condoles with HRM Oba Dele Solomon Owoniyi on loss of wife, Olori Marie Owoniyi.’
The statement read, “The Chairman’s prayers and thoughts are with the monarch as they grieve the departure of a beloved wife and mother, urging them to find solace and strength in the truth that the Almighty God is always with us through the good and difficult seasons of life.”
The chairman said Olori Marie Owoniyi was an exemplary woman who played huge roles in the success of her husband traditional stool.
“This death is a sad loss to us in Oweland, because Olori Marie Owoniyi was a symbol of courage and a great example for wives of traditional rulers, as she stood by her spouse and gave courage to other women,” Zacchaeus added.
“I pray that the Lord grants repose to her soul and give everyone she left behind the fortitude to bear this loss,” he said.
