In recognition of his consistent presence online and impact created on Kogi social media space, social media savvy the Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has bagged the “Most Outstanding Chairman of the Year 2025 Award” from the Management of Okun Radio Network.
Speaking during the presentation of the Award at venue of the ceremony in Kabba today, the convener of the event Hon Adekunle Smart said it was a meritorious award that was based on overwhelming voices from Kogites, which favours Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael.
He said the award was to recognize those who are using the social media to improve themselves and have positive impact on the people.
In his response, Zacchaeus thanked the organizers for the recognition and promised to continue to live up to the expectation of the people.
He however gave all the credits to Governor Usman who he said gave him the opportunity to serve the people. He described the Governor as the real outstanding leader who is committed to protecting the interest of the vast majority of people and providing the needed quality leadership.
The chairman called on Kogites, especially the youths to harness the innumerable opportunities provided by media house to improve themselves into becoming worthy assets to the state. He said Kogi is a state with great potentials and only when kogites begin to talk about the positives would investors take interest in the state.
He urged Nigerians to emulate Governor Usman Ododo whom he said, has inspired a leadership of development, unity and religious tolerance in Kogi State.
The award was dedicated to Governor Usman Ododo who found him worthy to be trusted in the offices he has held thus far.
