The Honourable Commissioner of Education, Hon. Wemi Jones FCIB, has extended his congratulations to HRM. Oba. Muyiwa Ibeun on his coronation as the Elulu of Mopa Kingdom.
While speaking at the coronation ceremony, the Commissioner, he wished Oba Muyiwa a peaceful and successful reign on the throne, praying that his leadership will bring about a period of peace, harmony, and progress in the community.
The Commissioner also took the opportunity to give updates on the Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Mopa, stating that the institution has come to stay.
He further informed the people of Mopa that Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo is fully committed to revamping education at all levels in the state.
Speaking on the newly coronated Elulu of Mopa, HRM. Oba. Muyiwa Ibeun, the Commissioner praised his character and expressed confidence in his ability to lead effectively. He emphasized that Oba Muyiwa’s past accomplishments will serve him well in his new role as the Elulu of Mopa and Chairman of the Mopa-Muro Local Government Traditional Council.
