Ogidi, Kogi State – The newly appointed Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Land Matters, Otunba Shuaib Ipinmisho, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Alhaji Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege (alias Fancy), Kogi State Auditor General of Local Government, for attending the Ogidi Day Festival.
Alhaji Siyaka, who represented the Governor at the event, highlighted the achievements of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration since its inception in January. He emphasized the importance of promoting culture and traditions, which is a core value of the administration. He also assured the people of Ogidi community that the Governor would have attended if not for his tight schedule, and promised that he would definitely attend next year’s edition.
The Ijumu LGA Caretaker Chairman, who was also the Chief host of the day, declared this year’s Ogidi Day a huge success. Other state functionaries in attendance included Commander Jerry Omodara, State Security Adviser, Mrs. Victoria Jagboro, Provost College of Education Technical Mopa, Amb. Dele Nihi, Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth, and many others.
