In a bid to ensure educational excellence and quality in Kogi State, the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones FCIB, conducted an unannounced inspection and monitoring visit to Okene Secondary School today.

During his visit, Hon. Wemi Jones was pleased to see that the school was not simply putting on a show for his arrival. He noted that the standards and educational practices in place at the school were of high quality and had clearly moulded great minds.

Impressed by what he saw, the Commissioner commended the school for maintaining such high standards and emphasized the importance of continuing to strive for educational excellence. He also had insightful interactions with the students, discussing their aspirations and offering words of encouragement.

Hon. Wemi Jones expressed his commitment to supporting schools in the state in achieving their educational goals and ensuring that they are in compliance with government policies.

He emphasized the need for continuous improvement and urged all schools to remain dedicated to providing quality education for the students.
