***Calling all aspiring agripreneurs!
***Join us in cultivating a brighter future for Africa’s agriscape

The IDRUFEM Youth Agribusiness Empowerment Initiative has announced the launch of its Batch 2 programme, offering a fully sponsored 12-week agribusiness training to 20 individuals. The programme will also provide business start-up support to participants after completion.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18-35 for females and 18-29 for males, and must hail from either Bunu, Kabba, or Ijumu. Additionally, applicants must not have a criminal record and must have a genuine interest in horticulture. Participants must be available for 12 weeks of physical training in Ogun State, with transport, accommodation, and a monthly stipend provided.

This October, the selected candidates will begin their training, with a focus on starting their own agribusiness upon completion. Females between the ages of 18-35 are particularly encouraged to apply, in line with the initiative’s goal of empowering more women in the agribusiness sector.

“Africa’s agribusiness sector is predicted to reach $1 trillion by 2030, Our people must not be left out,” said IDRUFEM in a statement.

To apply, interested individuals are required to send their full name, age/date of birth, gender, community of origin, local government area, phone number, and level of education to 07062193143 via WhatsApp or SMS.

With the deadline for applications approaching, IDRUFEM is looking forward to selecting a new cohort of passionate individuals ready to embark on a journey of agribusiness empowerment.
