IJUMU CONSTITUENCY: SDP Candidate thanks supporters, congratulates Hon Omotayo Ishaya Adeleye on her victory

The candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP for Ijumu local government state assembly election, Hon. Gbenga Eniwaiye has expressed gratitudes to all that in one way or the other supported his aspiration to represent the good people of Ijumu local government area in the State House of Assembly.

He expressed his appreciation through a statement made available to journalists in Lokoja today Wednesday.

In his statement, he said “I am immensely grateful to the family, friends, and loyal supporters who so generously contributed their time and effort to our campaign during this very long election season.

Hon. Eniwaiye who came 4th in the contest that has 9 contenders in the election and also against the candidate of the ruling party said that he is strongly convinced that the election has given him more opportunity to get closer to the constituents and he promised not to break the tie.

“I am deeply moved by the expression of confidence from Iluhafon community, my home front in particular, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

To my dear Egbon, Paul Kayode Joash, Olarewaju Abodunde, Uncle Sam Melaye, Felix Momodebe, Kolawole Adebayo, Paul Melaye, Mr.Femi Olutimayin, Chief Femi Ayinmode. Bro.Tunde Ayeni, Mr.Bond Oluyomi, My lovely Wife, my Spiritual Father Rev. Emmanuel Ayodele Ayeku and the Grand Commander, General Funsho Owonibi my in law, I wanted to personally thank you for your generous donations to my campaign.

Also, I want to specifically thank my Daddy and Mummy from the other Party that i can not mention here for personal reasons and Party differences.

“Your act of kindness and giving is sincerely appreciated and has been helpful in financing the campaign and other logistics required for the election and I will never take this show of love for granted.
