The Party is Social Democratic Party, SDP for the House Of Representatives seat, Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Hon. ABAYOMI BELLO has made this assertion while kick starting his campaign recently.
“Over the years, I have observed that there are many reasons why the ‘GOOD SOCIETY’ we so desire has eluded us. I have observed the different state of minds of our people that has limited their ability to ACT.
“First is our COMFORT ZONE. In this state, we get so used to things as they are that we don’t want to change. Second is a state of LEARNED HELPLESSNESS, where we feel we can’t do anything about our current state, so we accept it.
“The third is the PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE. In this state, we are always looking for an easy way to achieve our result but nothing worthwhile is achieved easily.
“Mindful of these states, I, ABAYOMI BELLO, today officially kick start my campaign to represent the good people of KABBA/BUNU/IJUNU FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY in the 2023 general elections.
“In the course of our campaigns, we intend to FOCUS on ISUUES and WHAT WE HAVE DONE that everyone can see and feel.
“We will CHALLENGE everyone to ARISE from whatever state, highlighted above, and begin to take their destiny into their own hands. We will CHALLENGE YOU ALL to ask the right questions when they come to ask for your votes. WHAT HAVE THEY DONE, not WHAT WILL THEY DO, to deserve your votes? Let us begin to make INFORMED decisions.
