***Donates ₦5m towards community development
The member representing Yagba Federal Constituency and ADC candidate for 2023 general election, Hon. Leke Abejide have commended the effort of hosts and organisers of Kabba Day 2022 and the community at large, in promoting unity in the community through culture.
Speaking at the event, the Chief of staff to the chairman house committee on custorms, Hon. Shola Adebola (Gaddafi), stated that cultural days like this serves as a unifying event in communities while calling on every other communities to emulate same.
He said the event should be encouraged in all strata because nothing could be compared to culture.
“Culture is a way of life that depicts respect, regard and value that God has endowed us with.
“Other communities should emulate what Kabba is doing today, since it will not affect our faith negatively but rather promote it.
He commended the community for promoting unity in diversity. “It shows love; we must love one another” Adebola said.
Hon. Abejide expresses his readiness to continue to support developmental activities in kabba which already he has started by paying WAEC fees of candidates of various secondary schools in Kabba and beyond.
As a support for the Kabba Day celebration, he donated a sum of ₦5 million naira towards the development of the community.
