A Governorship aspirant from kogi West Senatorial District under the platform of the people’s Democratic party (PDP) Dr.Bolufemi Rotimi has been speaking on a number of issues concerning the coming 2023 General Election in the country particularly the Atiku/Okowa candidature and what it portends for the success of the Party.
Dr.Bolufemi in this Exclusive interview with the publisher/Editor-in – Chief of Newsnowexpress Husseini Abubakar described the Atiku/Okowa ticket as a perfect match ordained by God.
Dr.Bolufemi an astute Politician and business mongul in kogi state described his aray into business and politics as God’s design for his life .
Born to the humble and Christian family of late PA Bolufemi Abel Ibitoye in Okoro- Ggbedde District of Ijumu Local government area in the sixties,Dr. Bolufemi through strick Christian Life and decipline has risen to the Apex of his calling through a dinct of hard-work, perseverance and fear of God.
Speaking about his early days in the public service, he explained that he started as an Account Clark at African Petroleum PLC Gusau ,Zamfara state before moving to Kaduna Refinary where he pointed out God blessed him and he became an independent oil marketer.
Dr.Bolufemi who said he currently runs four filling stations spread between Kaduna and Jigawa states said he moved to kogi through a Devine call in 2003 to come and contribute to the development of kogi state even whenotedn according to him there was no visible prospect of growth in the state.
According to him ,the state lacked the needed development despite it’s abundant human and natural resources saying he will change the narrative if elected as Governor.
Asked about what he will do differently if elected ,he said he has four point agenda for the rapid development of the state.
“My vission is to industrialize kogi state where women are empowered and the youths are gainfully employed’
He told the people of the state to join forces towards bringing back the PDP to power to restore prosperity and wipe out hunger and starvation.
