In a bid to ignite hope for the future of education in Kogi State, Honorable Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones FCIB, embarked on a groundbreaking mission to Ogori-Magongo. The honourable commissioner today embarked on the distribution of essential educational materials to students and teachers in the community, marking a significant step towards enhancing the teaching and learning process.

Under the auspices of the ODODO VANGUARD Back-to-School Support Program, education materials ranging from exercise books to teacher lesson notes, pens, pencils, chalks, and markers were distributed to benefit the eager learners and dedicated educators in Ogori-Magongo.

Hon. Wemi Jones lauded the program’s initiative, deeming it perfectly aligned with the educational vision of His Excellency, Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo.

The Commissioner highlighted the Governor’s commitment to revamping the education sector in Kogi State, stressing the pivotal role played by the free education policy and the government’s provision of necessary examination fees.
