Kogi Education Commissioner Wemi Jones Takes Hands-On Approach in Monitoring National Common Entrance Exam, Inspiring Future Leaders in Kogi State

Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB, the Honorable Commissioner for Education in Kogi State, was seen taking a hands-on approach as he personally monitored the ongoing 2024 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) at Muslim Community Secondary School in Lokoja, Kogi State.

The NCEE is an important external examination organized by the National Examination Council (NECO) for students seeking admission into JSS 1 of Federal Unity Colleges in Nigeria.

A total of 134 eager students were seated and ready to showcase their knowledge and skills in the highly anticipated exams.

The Honorable Commissioner was visibly pleased with the conduct of the exams, expressing his satisfaction with the organization and management of the process. His presence at the examination center served as a testament to his commitment to the education sector and the future of young learners in the state.

Mr. Ibrahim Agabi, the State Coordinator for NECO, commended Hon. Wemi Jones for his unwavering passion and support for education in Kogi State. He noted that the Honorable Commissioner’s dedication to ensuring quality education for all students has had a positive impact on the educational system in the state.
