Kogi Governor Launches Palliative Distribution Amidst Economic Hardship, Warns Against Hoarding

The Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has flagged off the distribution of Palliatives to cushion the current economic challenges.
The Governor equally warned those saddled with the responsibility of distributing the palliative not to hoard nor sell the relief materials provided by Government to cushion the economic hardship in the Country.

Alhaji Ododo gave the warning on Tuesday during the flag off of first quarter 2024 food palliatives distribution in Lokoja.
While noting that the palliatives are meant for the indigent people of Kogi State, the Governor said his administration remains committed to serve the people in transparency and the fear of God.
According to him, “the palliatives will not be distributed along party, ethnic or religious line”, adding that, the target beneficiaries are the poorest of the poor in Kogi State.
