In a significant development, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, the President of the Court of Appeal, has decided to relocate the Kogi Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal from its former location in Lokoja to the capital city, Abuja.
According to a statement released by David Umar Mike, Secretary of the Tribunal, all future sittings of the tribunal will now take place at the National Judicial Institute situated on Umar Yar’Adua Way in Abuja.
Litigants involved in the proceedings are strongly advised to make a note of this change in venue to ensure their presence at the correct location for the tribunal’s hearings.
