The Honourable Commissioner of Education Kogi State, Hon Wemi Jones FCIB, has paid a visit to Confluence University of Science and Technology, CUSTECH, Osara, following the invasion of gunmen Thursday night. The Commissioner made the visit for an on-spot assessment of the situation and to assure parents, students, and the university community that the government is taking the incident seriously.
During his visit, Hon Jones stated that the state government is fully committed to ensuring the safety of the abducted students and will do everything in its power to secure their release. He reassured everyone that the government is on top of the situation and that the security of lives and properties of citizens is a top priority.
