***dedicates ilawo title to executive governor of kogi State
The Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government and Kogi State ALGON Chairman,Hon. Taufiq Isa has thanked the Ata Igala,HRM. HRM. Agabaidu Dr Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche for finding him worthy for the chieftaincy title as Ilawo Ata-Igala,which the salutation shall be “ede”.
He described the honor as a show of love that will remain evergreen in his memory and he promised to continue to work more for the development and growth of the people.
He further stated that such recognition is a spur to work harder on his assignment and support the growth and welfare of his people.
He used the occasion to express his gratitude to Governor Yahaya Bello for giving him the opportunity to serve and thanked the royal father, HRM. Agabaidu Dr Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche and Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs,Hon. Abdulsalami Ozigi Deedat and the entire traditional stool of Igala land for the honor done to him, adding that the Chieftaincy title is one he will cherish for a lifetime.
According to him, I am so happy and fulfilled today, having been recognized by the custodian of our norms and culture in Igala land. It is a lifetime honour I will cherish. I once again thank His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello,for giving me the opportunity to serve in his administration.
