The SA on media to Senator Dino Melaye, the Kogi State PDP governorship candidate, Mr Gideon Ayodele has expressed confidence in his principal as having that capacity to right the wrongs in the state and properly position the state on the right track for growth and development.
Stating this on Thursday while interacting with his Media colleagues made this assertion.
Mr Gideon said “I have been privileged to meet different distinguished men and women at different times in my life and the man who graces this piece as my Leading man is indeed exceptional.
” He is a leader, a boss, mentor, humble, graced, elegant, affable, intelligent, dependable, with integrity and without airs…these are few words that come to mind as I try to describe this man of substance.
“I write about him today, not describing him from a distance or as someone I have read about in the papers, heard on radio or seen on television… NO! I write about him as someone I have a personal relationship with, worked with and followed over time. So when I say his traits of selflessness, determination, intelligence, compassion and wisdom are exceptional, it is from who knows and it is the TRUTH!
“He will be able to deliver on promises. He performed creditably well as a member of the federal house of representatives as well as a Senator when he represented the good people of Kogi West Senatorial District and has remained the best in the history of legislation in Nigeria with several people oriented Bills and Motions to his credit.
“He is a bridge-builder who can connect the West, Central and the Eastern parts of the state.
Describing Dino Melaye as a positive indicator of a new beginning in Kogi state, Gideon Ayodele, stated that the people of Kogi state have been pillaged by present administration but that time has come for a new administration to change the narrative, and restore hope to the people.
“We cannot be at the river bank and continue to wash our hands with saliva. We see in him a man God is using to restore hope to the hopeless and to wipe away tears from people’s eyes and we are saying time has come for someone with a heart of the people to take over the leadership of the state so that the government can begin to make sense for the average Kogite.
“I am sure kogites will not regret voting for him as their preferred candidate in the forthcoming November 11th governorship elction. He will prioritise the interest of the people and incorporates all parts of the state in his developmental strides” he assured.
