A transactional relationship is the order of the day now.
People are not genuinely interested in building a long-lasting and healthy relationship but are rather interested in the immediacy of gratification and personal gain, or better still, satisfy their “pressing” needs.
Once it is not forthcoming, you see them no more. They’ve forgotten that everyone also needs help at one point or the other.
Remember, he who doesn’t help you today might be there for you tomorrow. Life does not come to an end with your problem(s).
