Local hunters set to be inaugurated to boost security measures in Kabba/Bunu LGA

The Caretaker Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has extended a special invitation to all the newly recruited local hunters for their official inauguration.

In a statement signed by his Special Assistant on New Media, Omofa John, the event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 27th 2024 at the Council Chamber of the LGA Secretariat at 10:00am prompt.

The inauguration is aimed at enhancing security measures in the LGA, with operational vehicles set to be shared to all routes for better security coverage. The local hunters will also receive a schedule of movements and operations to effectively combat insecurity in the region.

The Caretaker Chairman has also extended the invitation to security heads, traditional rulers, party stakeholders, leaders, elders, and members of the general public to attend the inauguration ceremony.

In his message, the Caretaker Chairman emphasized the importance of the community coming together to ensure the safety of lives and property within Kabba/Bunu LGA.

This inauguration marks a significant milestone in the efforts to improve the security situation in the region and underscores the commitment of the local government to safeguarding the well-being of its residents.

All are encouraged to attend and show their support for the newly recruited local hunters as they take on their role in ensuring the safety and security of Kabba/Bunu LGA.
