A Former Aspirant in the May 28 2022 All Progressives Congress (APC) Kogi West Senatorial Primary election, Dr. Muyi Aina has concluded a thank you tour of the Senatorial District.

Dr. Aina had on Sunday commenced a Thank You visit to the 7 Local Government Areas in the district in appreciation of the support given him by his Canvassers, Coordinators as well as his teaming supporters.

Speaking on Monday at Isanlu, headquarters of Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State, the Former Aspirant expressed his appreciation to his teaming supporters and Foot soldiers for believing in his aspiration even within a limited time.

He noted that his plan to be the voice for the people is still on course, pointing out that he would not give up on his dream for the people.

While assuring that he would not neglect them come what may, the Ex Aspirant explained that “never again will we allow anyone to suppress the Voice of Kogi West Masses.”

According to him, the visit is to fulfil his promise to be with his teaming supporters whether he wins or not, saying he sees them as members of his family.

Dr. Aina charged his supporters not to give up but keep hope alive as only God gives power to whoever He pleases.

He hinted that very soon, directive will be given about his next political line of action, adding that the Muyi Aina Campaign Organisation is now metamorphosed into a political movement to reckon with in the politics of Kogi West and Kogi State in general.

Earlier, the Director General, Muyi Aina Campaign Organization, Mr. Olugbenga Rotimi commended the Coordinators for their believe in the aspiration of Dr. Aina, who he described as God fearing, humble and focused leader.

Mr. Rotimi lauded the courage of the Ex Aspirant, saying despite the fact that the outcome of the election weighed so many down, he has been strong enough to motivate and thank those who worked for him.

The Team Muyi Aina Campaign Organisation Coordinator for the Local Government, Hon. Komolafe Ayorinde said the decision to thank his Coordinators is a clear indication that Dr. Aina didn’t join the race to amass wealth but to provide quality representation at the red Chamber.
