***urges political actors to let peace reign
Mr Olusegun Adeyemi the State Director National Orientation Agency Kwara has admonished parents and guardians to enrol their wards in government primary schools and not discourage them from eating the free daily meal government provides.

The advise was given on Wednesday by the NOA State Director while speaking on the Agency’s Enlightenment programme on Okin 105.7 FM Offa.
Adeyemi explained that the NHGSFP is part of government’s efforts to increase enrollment in public primary schools and stimulate the economy.
The NOA Director also described the school feeding Programme as laudable and well conceived with multiple benefits to pupils, entrepreneurs, and the society at large, hence, no one should be allowed to discredit the scheme.
In his words “it is a feeding programme of the federal government that is aimed at feeding each pupil of public schools across the 36 states and federal capital, therefore parents should not discourage their children from partaking in the meal based on sentiments, religious or political bias. “.
The NOA Director therefore called on parents, communities, schools and other stakeholders to support the programme and ensure it achieves its aim.
Also speaking on campaign towards the 2023 general elections, the Director appealed to various political parties, aspirants and their supporters to focus on issue-based campaign rather than promoting hate speeches, fake news and other negative and destructive activities.
Adeyemi therefore appealed to youths not to allow anyone use them as thugs and not to allow campaigns and elections cause chaos in our nation.
