Ede/Osun/11-10-2022: Osun State Governor-Elect, Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke has felicitated with His Royal Majesty, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi; (Ọjájá II) on his conferment with national honour of Commander of the Federal Republic(CFR) by President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Senator Adeleke who praised the royal father’s contribution to Yoruba and national unity said the honour bestowed on the Ooni is for all Yorubas at home and abroad, affirming that ” this recognition calls for celebration.
“Our dear royal father, your conferment of national honour by President Muhammadu Buhari is a well deserved acknowledgement of your immeasurable contribution to national unity and development. You have championed many nation building initiatives. You are a golden light of enlightenment from Yorubaland to Africa and Yorubas in diaspora.
“As you continue to provide much needed support for the full accomplishment of our potentials as a people and nation, I am convinced that this award is just the beginning of a future celebration of your majesty as a cultural icon who is doing a lot to erase ignorance, poverty and under-development”, Senator Adeleke stated.
