Timothy Samuel, the newly elected Technical Representative of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) and Chairman of the Nigeria Volleyball Referees Association (NVRA), has set his sights on taking Nigerian volleyball to the next level. With his extensive experience as NVRA Chairman and international referee, Samuel aims to revolutionize the sport and drive it towards unprecedented success.
Having successfully digitalized NVRA and implemented crucial reforms, Samuel is now ready to address untouched areas in volleyball and propel the sport forward. He commended President Musa Nimrod for his efforts in establishing the Musa Nimrod 16-19 program, which aims to nurture young talent in the country.
Samuel expressed his optimism about Nigeria’s future in volleyball, highlighting the abundance of talent from various regions. He stressed the importance of teamwork, collaboration with coaches, and selecting individuals with a clear vision and motives to drive the sport to new heights.
“Even if I hadn’t won the election, I’m still a Nigerian and a part of the federation. As an international referee, I’ll continue to officiate volleyball. God’s victory makes me stand firm,” Samuel affirmed, underscoring his unwavering commitment to the sport.
